OPT OUT by 8/28! Join These Concerned NPS Parents and Protect Your Child from Controversial Gender Lessons!

Take action before August 28 to opt your child out of controversial gender lessons

Join like-minded parents with children in Natick Public Schools who demand the right to direct the care, education, and upbringing of their children!

Here are some examples of how NPS parents have been pushing back on controversial gender curriculum to stop child indoctrination in age-inappropriate content and to stand up for parental rights:

Parent 1 (This parent is "shocked and appalled that this is being taught to my 7 year old")

Parent 2 (This parent stands "firm in thinking 7 years old is far too young for this topic")

Parent 3 (This parent wants an opt out that can "respect individual family values," and his/her child was exposed to"material that we said would not be a part of the elementary school curriculum" )

Parent 4 (This parent wants to "understand the process for opting out my incoming Kindergarten student...including LGBTQ+ topics and Pride Flag discussions"

Parent 5 (This parent wants to "exempt our child from all lessons, events, school assemblies and other instructional activities...including LGBTQ+ sexuality)

Parent 6 (This parent wants to make sure the health class opt-out request is honored, since there was a mistake the previous year)

Parent 7 (This parent is outraged about the pseudoscience of middle school gender ideology being taught that also conflicts with high school biology class lessons)

Parent 8 (This parent says this is a "controversial topic" and wants the "respect as a parent to discuss this with my children when I feel it's appropriate." In response, the teacher admits this is a "controversial topic" and is "respectful of a parent and family values," so kudos to her!)

Don't let Natick Public Schools dismiss diverse parenting approaches

Forced indoctrination in "sex assigned at birth" and "born in the wrong body" gender ideology impacts 100% of the student population, not just the small number of children who identify as transgender. It may also create an unsafe learning environment for children of all backgrounds.

All families instill a variety of values and beliefs in their children that are integral to their identity and culture. When children are indoctrinated in biased gender ideology at school, it can directly conflict with the lessons parents are trying to teach their children about what’s best for their health and wellbeing.

Parental rights are intrinsically linked to making sure children are protected physically, emotionally, and intellectually. It's time for Natick Public Schools to partner with parents to create a safe and nurturing environment that prioritizes the wellbeing of every child and respects diverse parenting approaches.

Email your child's school principal and classroom teacher before the start of the 2024-2025 school year to request a formal op-out for all gender/sexual identity curriculum and content.

Will you also forward this email to other concerned Natick parents with children in Natick Public Schools to sign up to receive our weekly emails?
